Marvel anime comes to G4, funny Green Lantern commercials and more, welcome to Friday’s videos and trailers.
This July, Iron Man and Wolverine burst onto the TV screen once more with the premiere of the English-language versions of their very own animes on G4!
Adrian Pasdar (“Heroes,” “Castle,” “Profit”) lends his voice as Tony Stark in “Iron Man” while Milo Ventimiglia (“Gilmore Girls,” “Rocky Balboa,” “Heroes”) plays the title role in “Wolverine,” and with the animation of the legendary Japanese animation studio Madhouse. Now what are you waiting for? Watch the video!
“Iron Man”
In an effort to make amends for his weapons manufacturing past, Tony Stark has dedicated himself to building the world up rather than tearing it down. Traveling to Japan to build a new arc reactor that will deliver unlimited free energy to the Japanese people, Stark is challenged by the Japanese government and the media when he attempts to import the necessary nuclear priming device. And when the reactor-in-construction is repeatedly attacked by the mysterious Zodiac consortium, Stark must gather his allies to take on Zodiac and its mastermind.
“Wolverine”
Based on the popular graphic novel by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, the series begins in Japan where Logan is challenged by Shingen Yashida, the notorious leader of a powerful mafia clan. When Shingen’s employee Yukio, a female assassin, falls out of Shingen’s favor, she must kill him or be killed. Teaming up with Logan, the pair seek out the villain to exact their revenge.
Next, for some humor check out this is a great Green Lantern themed commercial:
Next, a humorous take on what if George Lucas had been kidnapped and replaced 20 years ago by a double and that’s why his later movies um, were not quite up to par. He escapes and recruits Short Round, Princess Leia, and Chewbacca to form a vigilante posse. They are set on destroying the imposter George Lucas and the crap that he created.
A new trailer for a Star Trek game, about which TrekToday reported, has been released. The Star Trek game, due out in 2012, is set in the Abrams Star Trek XI universe.
