The Walking Dead season three is definitely shaping up to be a big one. There’s a new location in the prison, a new villain in the form of The Governor, and most importantly for some fans, there’s Michonne, the katana-wielding woman who’s long been a favorite of comics readers. We’ve seen her look, and now we get to see her skills.
We’ve been waiting for this moment ever since we learned shortly after the season two finale that actress Danai Gurira had been cast in the iconic role. The footage debuted last night during a special episode of the Walking Dead companion series Talking Dead, and while it may be short, it’s definitely sweet.
