Movies: Vivid Entertainment’s ”Superman XXX: A Porn Parody” Release set for January 31

Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film studio, will debut its newest superhero spectacular, “Superman XXX: A Porn Parody”, on Monday, Jan. 31st on www.vivid.comand in stores nationwide. The new Axel Braun directed movie spoof has all the excitement that crime fighting adventure fans love, as well as all the sex they only imagined…up to now. The movie spoof was produced by the same hit making team that created “Batman XXX: A Porn Parody”, the #1 best-selling movie of 2010.
The movie is being released under the studio’s new VividXXXSuperheroes imprint and stars Ryan Driller as Superman/Clark Kent, James Deen as Jimmy Olson, Andy San Dimas as the hottest Lois Lane ever and Dale DaBone as Jor-El. The cast of villains includes Alexis Texas as Miss Teshmacher, Zoe Voss as Ursa, Eric Masterson as Lex Luther, Ben English as Zod and Dick Chibbles as Non. Other roles include Lexi Belle as a flight attendant, Kristina Rose as a receptionist, Alec Knight as the co-pilot and Even Stone as captain.
“This movie was a total blast to make,” said Braun. “I treat my characters with the love they deserve and try make sure that we have the magic combination of sizzling sex and superheroes for our true fans,” he noted. “Axel has set an extraordinarily high standard with the success of ‘Batman XXX: A Porn Parody’ and he’s never content to rest on his laurels so we’re very excited about this debut,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid.
Publications: Wizard Magazine, a personal favorite of Ninja Crew up until a few years ago, will officially be folded by owner Wizard World along with sister magazine Toyfare, after a twenty year run. There was a brief announcement on the website but strangely no mention of the Magazine specifically, just stating that it will now be online.
“In addition, Wizard World plans to launch in February 2011 an all-new digital magazine called ‘Wizard World’ that will appeal to pop-culture fans, the same audience to which Mr. Shamus has catered to, for over 20 years. This weekend, Hollywood’s current princess Natalie Portman reigned supreme over the North American box office as her new comedy No Strings Attached debuted at number one giving the Black Swan actress two films in the top ten a week after her big Golden Globe win. With no other films opening in wide release, most holdovers fared well with awards contenders enjoying the best legs thanks to strong word-of-mouth and buzz. But overall, the marketplace remained in poor shape falling below last year’s levels for the eleventh consecutive weekend. Rotten Tomatoes.
