Awesome new Simpsons intro. Many people took the knee-jerk reaction to the controversial intro and assumed that because the Simpsons took some flak for having some of its animation done in S. Korea that this is an acknowledgement of slave labor, sweatshops or the evils of outsourcing or some such other hippy dippy cause celeb of the moment.
The genius of this intro is that it is doing just the opposite, poking fun at the hyperventilating self righteous crowd. It gives a supposed peek behind the scenes into a sweat shop where people are forced to work on the Simpsons cartoon and poor panda bears and unicorns are forced into slave labor. Some clowns actually took this at face value and that my friends is the true genius of the Simpsons creative team. Good work.
