Word just out is that once Director Sam Raimi finishes his reboot of his own iconic horror series with Evil Dead, he will take on a reboot of the 1982 classic Poltergeist. Raimi will not direct it himself. Nathan Kahane, Roy Lee and Robert Tapert are also involved, and the script is being written by David Lindsay-Abaire (Oz: The Great and Powerful).
The story, will be similar the original, will focus on a family building a house on a holy site, which causes their young daughter to be possessed and controlled by ghosts. What do you think?
